WHO IS PACIFIC UTILITY AUDIT?

Pacific Utility Audit is a corporation that has been operating since 1989 and specializes in auditing water, sewer, gas, electric, trash, and telephone bills in order to find errors and overcharges made by the utility companies or city-operated utilities.

Once these errors are located, our staff of experienced analysts and attorneys work to obtain refund checks for our clients from these same utility companies or cities. Clients are not charged for any legal services provided by our attorneys, including court costs if litigation with the utility companies or cities becomes necessary.

Our job is to obtain for you wither a refund, credit, and/or correction of your utility bills, as well as minimize your future utility costs. We are a result-oriented business, so we only get paid if we perform. It is a win-win situation for you!

Our audit of your utility bills consists of these steps:

1)  THOROUGH AUDIT AND ANALYSIS OF YOUR PAST, PAID UTILITY BILLS
This step often uncovers rate errors, mathematical errors, tax errors, meter read errors, demand read errors, or rate calculation errors.

2)  ON-SITE INSPECTION OF YOUR UTILITY METERS AND PROPERTY
This step often uncovers meter multiplier errors, meter size errors, leaks that are eligible for refunds from the utility companies or rate application errors based upon what the meter serves.

3)  ANALYSIS OF INFORMATION OBTAINED IN FIRST TWO STEPS AND RECALCULATION OF YOUR UTILITY BILLS ON ALTERNATIVE RATES
This step often uncovers more cost-effective, less-expensive utility rates or methods of billing available to the client on an annual basis.

All clients can benefit from this service and they have the right to have qualified persons helping them. Remember - gas, electric, water, sewer, trash, and telephone bills are going to continue indefinitely. It is our job to make sure that you are charged only for your fair share of them!
